EXPLORING KONDO HILL AND ANCCIENT KALDERA PROPOK

Description

Kondo Hill is part of Rinjani Natiinal Park which is on the east slope of Mount Rinjani Sembalun Village, East Lombok Regency. the haigh of the hill is at 1750 meters above sea level.

In the west of Kondo Hill, there is an ancient volcanic Caldera called savanna propok. According to geologists, the volcano erupted 500 years ago and the volcano called Propok. a lot of people visit the hill and to the caldera after set up as a destination for camping and enjoy nature.

Day I

Overview: Lombok Green Nature office, Sembalun Village dan Kondo Hill

Enjoying beautiful mount Rinjani Volcano from the east

Camping in the wall of ancient propok volcanos

From Lombok Green Nature office to hiking point will go there by car around 25 minutes.

From the start point to the or park area to the summit of Kondo hill only 3-4 hours for basic climbers and 2-2,5 hours for professional hikers.

Having dinner at 6:00 Pm, enjoying the night in Kondo hill with beautiful stars and rest.

Day 2

Overview: Bukit Kondo, Lombok Green nature office

Experience

Enjoying the sunrise

Go around at Savanna Propok

Foods: 1-time breakfast and Lunch.

You will wake up by your guide in the morning at 5:30 Am to see the sunrise from the summit while drink coffee or hot tea. You can see the beautiful sunrise and Sumbawa island from the hill. After enjoying the sunrise then breakfast. After having breakfast your guide will accompany you go down to visit the Savanna Propok to take some photos, only need 25 minutes from the hill to get there. After enjoying the savanna then back to the camping area then go down to the parking area and back to Lombok Green Nature office.
