Senaru Crater Rim offers the best views of Segara Anak Lake, Gunung Baru Jari Volcano, and the stunning Rinjani Summit. The Lombok earthquake last year, on July 11, 2018, damaged the path that goes up to the summit and down to the lake, making trekkers only able to reach the crater rim. We recommend you visit this place if you want to see a perfect view of Segara Anak Lake. We can also see the colorful lakes and the beautiful Gunung Baru Jari.
Itinerary Senaru Trekking Package, 2 Days:
Arrival day: We will pick you up at the airport in Lombok or other places on Lombok Island and transfer you to the hotel in Senaru. Meet Your trekking guide will provide guidance to better prepare you for the journey.
Day 1:
Overview: Senaru Village, Post 1, II, III, and Senaru Crater Rim.
Duration: 6 hours.

See a beautiful view of Segara Anak Lake and the amazing Gunung Baru Jari.
Wake up at 6:30 a.m. and get breakfast. After that, we’ll walk 10 minutes to the Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru to register.
Trekking Rinjani begins at the Rinjani Trek Center Senaru around 08:00, beginning with a walk through a dense tropical forest rich in flora, birdlife, and a variety of butterflies. After stopping for a break, we will transport you to the Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m), where you can enjoy a cup of tea and some biscuits. After the break, continue to trek up for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a break and lunch.
After lunch, we will immediately leave Pos 3 and go up to the Senaru crater rim (2641 m) for two hours. Senaru Crater has the most spectacular view after reaching its peak. We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali, as well as the smoke from the new volcano on the lake’s edge, and we will camp here for the night.
Day 2:
Overview: Sembalun Crater Rim, Post III, II, and Sembalun Village.
Duration: 6 hours.

After breakfast at around 7:30 with a beautiful sunrise, we will leave Mount Rinjani to descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If we are lucky, we can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours, and we will take lunch along the way. When you arrive at Senaru village (601 m), the car will take you to your next destination.

You are responsible for:
Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory and mandatory for all travelers who are going to participate in any of our adventure and recreational activities, i.e., mountain biking, trekking, climbing, etc.
We recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers repatriation and evacuation in case of a medical emergency, cancellation, and curtailment, as well as baggage and valuables.
The policy must once again provide coverage for personal accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, personal liability, and emergency air ambulance and helicopter rescue services.
